League Y Midseason

The normal distribution league is creating some pretty clear spread of records. The middle 8 places are still up for grabs. We will see who can make their Champions League dreams come true in the final 3 weeks.

Cheng’s Squad – 8th Place Prediction – Minor Leagues

Worst team in the league. By points at least. Somehow, they have created a 4-4 record. The roster offers little hope, especially this week with Le’veon out on bye. Maybe Brock Osweiller will lead this team to the Champions League….and maybe the Browns will go 8-8 with one QB and Tyrell Pryor will be the #1 WR in the league. It could happen, I guess.

Green Bay Spackers – 10th Place Prediction – Championship League

A strong start to the draft allowed the Spackers to throw some darts at Rawls, Charles, and Foreman. And none turned out to be anything. This team has some good starters though. All hope is not lost. I think the spackers will be in the Minor Leagues with some good games by Fournette and Baldwin.

Running Back U – 1st Place Prediction – Minor Leagues

Another team benefitting from Zeke’s lawyers. There is a serious lack of depth on this team and the byes are going to hurt this week. But none of that matters as this team is a lock for the playoffs. Zeke will give the team a chance at a championship while a suspension would lead to a quick exit.

Atlanta’s Chick Fil A Stand – 7th Place Prediction – Amateur Hour League

Todd Gurley and Antonio Brown are amazing. But not amazing enough to drag this trash heap past 7th place. I can commiserate with the loss of Luck for the whole season. Maybe if Doctson shows up and Sammy Watkins remembers who he is, this team can have some success in the last few weeks. Otherwise expect to see this team dropping in the standings.

Show Me Your TDS, Aaron – 4th Place Prediction – Minor Leagues

How do you have Russell Wilson, Dak, and Aaron Rodgers? Oh right, your RBs are CJ Anderson and Jonathan Stewart. Congrats on your 4th place so far but you might want to take a picture of it because it isn’t going to last long. Every team so far appears to be in poor shape. We could be ready to see a huge swing in the standings over the next few weeks.

Sneaky Little B’s – 2nd Place Prediction – Champions League

Here is a team that has showed amazing resilience after losing Odell. Who would have thought Buck Allen and Nelson Agholor could bring a team success at the start of the season. Well that’s where we are and this team is going to have a chance at making a run in the playoffs.

Disco Ninja’s – 5th Place Prediction – Amateur Hour League

Looks like a lineup of solid players and Watson at QB has put this team in contention for the Champions League. The team is pretty solid up and down the lineup with Mark Ingram getting better as the season goes on. This team looks to be one of the potential benefactors of Show Me Your TD’s struggling down the homestretch.

Team Begun – 11th Place Prediction – Minor Leagues

This team looks to have had some bad luck and some bad roster decisions. Each of the players have put up good weeks but not consistently. No doubt the right players at the right times would have put this team in contention. But the roller coaster players have ended Team Begun’s playoff push the Champions League dreams before they begun. Get it? Begun. I’m clearly getting better at this.

Cookout’s Champions – 9th Place Prediction – Minor League

I was going to guess that Alex Smith was on all of the playoff teams before I saw this team. 942 points scored against this team. Ouch. This team can definitely get to the Minor Leagues. The Champions League is going to be tough but the team gives Cookout the chance to move up.

JPP Gave me the Finger – 3rd Place Prediction – Champions League

Here is a solid Champions League team that needs the QBs to step up a little bit to win the championship. Carr and Dalton just haven’t been good enough so far. Other than that, this team can win it all. Expect to see them preparing for the playoffs already. They could be one of the top teams next year.

Team Froass – 6th Place Prediction – Amateur Hour League

Here is the Carson Wentz overperforming team. Picking up Aaron Jones gives this team a chance to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, Kearse and Jordy are regressing and there isn’t much on the bench to be excited about. In the end, this team will end where they are now, stuck in the middle of the pack.

Wilfork on First Date – 12th Place Prediction – Champions League

Luck, out. Martavis Bryant, mentally out. Amari Cooper, mostly out. Cameron Meredith, Out. Josh Gordon, Not Out? Chances of making the playoffs, Out.
