League X Midseason
Three teams with over 980 points and 3 teams under 800 points make this league the most lopsided of the three. We have a pretty good idea where the teams are going to finish in the league. It’s more about who will win the championship at this point.
Team Carr – 4th Place Prediction – Minor Leagues
Team Carr has by far the fewest points of the top 5. Favorable matchups have carried Team Carr this far but the problems are starting to mount for this team. Kelvin Benjamin to Buffalo isn’t a bad thing, except it keeps him out of the lineup this week. In a week when Carr needs a win and is already dealing with 4 players on bye, someone to step up big against Prescott.
Hit me with your Prescott – 3rd Place Prediction – Amateur Hour League
Despite Ajayi being terrible all season, every other player for Prescott has really stepped up. Will Fuller scores touchdowns every time he touches the ball. Ingram has shown why the Saints never should have bothered with AP. And Deshaun was putting together a historic year before he got hurt. The injury leaves the window open for another team to have a chance in the playoffs but don’t expect Prescott to give it up easily.
Texas Forever – 8th Place Prediction – Amateur Hour League
Dalvin Cook and Carson Wentz couldn’t have been better as Texas Forever correctly drafted some of the best young players. Unfortunately, injuries across the board and missing Cooper’s break out game has left Texas Forever at 3-5. While Texas Forever may not be able to crack the top 4, he should be able to stay in the minor leagues with the players on his roster.
Zero Everything – 11th Place Prediction – Amateur Hour League
Despite drafting RBs late, there are now two reasonable starting RBs. Unfortunately, it was too late for this team to make in impact on the league. There has also been a lot of disappointment with Jordan Reed and Sammy Watkins. It was a rough year in the end and now is the time to start planning for next year and how to advance out of the Amateur Hour League.
Lucky Mama – 10th Place Prediction – Champions League
Lucky Mama just ran out of luck. Points scored is in the top half of the league but points against is second highest. The rough start losing Ware on top of everything else doomed this team to the bottom end of the league. There is a slim hope for Mama to make the Minor Leagues but if her luck returns it is still possible.
Team McAfee – 5th Place Prediction – Minor Leagues
I may have been down on the drafting only 1 QB, but right now this team has plenty of depth to get into the playoffs. 8 players on this team are ranked in the top 10 for their position. Something about McAfee brings out the best in his opponents leading to a 4-4 record. McAfee should get into the playoffs and make a run at the championship despite being outside the top 4 all year long.
Alstadt Biergarten – 6th Place Prediction – Amateur Hour League
Ezekiel Elliott has kept this team relevant even after losing Rodgers for the season. It seems unlikely to see the Biergarten in the Playoffs even if Elliott stays on the field. There just isn’t enough power at WR to make that final push. Biergarten outperformed initial expectations and will be in the Minor Leagues next year.
Team Eline – 12th Place Prediction – Minor Leagues
Trevor Simien was the only QB drafted for this team. That looked brilliant for about 2 weeks. Ty Montgomery, Blount, Garcon, and Jeffrey have all disappointed. Over 1000 points by opponents have made this team just about the saddest team in the whole Relegation Fantasy Football Association. Better luck next year.
Rick and Mortd’s – 7th Place Prediction – Champions League
This team has really disappointed based on the projections. RBs haven’t been consistent like they needed to be. With Brady on a bye this week, Rick is going to be struggling to get a win against the league’s top team. This team will be struggling to stay out of the Amateur Hour League for 2018.
Disgusting Act by Randy Moss – 1st Place Prediction – Champions League
Here is the Fournette/Hunt duo you expect. Top of the league with depth to spare. This team is going to pushing for a championship and has one of the best teams in the whole association.
Jordy, I hope There Are Tapes – 2nd Place Prediction – Minor Leagues
Alex Smith has made up for a lot of the struggles of this team. Jordy has managed to scrape his way to a 2nd place standing and good shape to make the playoffs. The lineup leaves little hope for the playoffs compared to the other powerhouses of this league. Enjoy the Champions League next year.
Team Begun – 9th Place Prediction – Champions League
Both Beguns are struggling this year. The team doesn’t look bad at the moment but you can see where the struggles came from. AP and Lynch have been old running backs that have lost a step. The WRs just haven’t stepped up either. Begun has a chance at the Minor Leagues and is one of the teams to watch during the last few weeks of the year.
