Hello Everyone and welcome to the 10th year of the Relegation Fantasy Football Association. This so far is the hardest league to separate out into tiers. It is really a close draft and a little thing could easily put one team in the Champions League and another team in the Amateurs. I think it will come down to the last two weeks of the regular season to figure everything out.

YinzerScoot - 1st Pick (Minor Leagues)

This is someone going into a draft with plan. Load up on RB and wait on everything else. After getting Josh Allen at the 1.01, Yinzer picks up 6 RB in the next 10 picks. And that RB room is loaded, especially with Marshawn Lloyd in the 11th. Everything else feels a little light though. Cam Ward and Shedeur as QB2 is going to be giving up some points to every other team. DJ Moore as WR2 also feels a little light. I don’t think he is going to get rejuvenated in Buffalo. Although Christian Watson might be able to hold down the WR2 spot. Then Chig is the TE picked up in the 2nd to last round. I don’t think this works without making a trade because there is too much value on the RB bench and the other positions are going to give up too many points to other teams.

Pierson07 - 2nd Pick (Minor Leagues)

This league is all about the draft strategy. For Pierson he filled QBs, then RBs, then WRs, then TE. And it sort of works. Lamar and Mahommes should work for QBs. Saquon in Breece is good for RBs. Then WR group is a little more questionable with Devontae Smith, Luther Burden, and Jamo. Lots of potential, but far from a guarantee. And Tucker Kraft could be a great pick in the 8th. The depth is really a question though. There are a lot of WRs and a second TE. Then some low end RBs. I think this team will start strong but struggle through the season as challenges come up. In the end they just come up short of the playoffs.

Tosh612 - 3rd Pick (Amateur Hour League)

Its the team that is put into the minors because they drafted Josh Jacobs. Who knows how many games he will miss but that is a 5th round pick lost for part of the season. It is especially rough when all you really have for RB is Gibbs and Tuten. It could work, but it is more likely to be a problem. And the WR room is a load of WR2s. Evans, Parker Washington, Godwin, Reed, and Downs. It would be great if there was at least one top tier WR in this group. Then grabbing Tua and Penix feels like you just guaranteed yourself a disappointing QB and thats about it. Sorry about your luck but it isn’t looking good.

SaintLewis - 4th Pick (Champions League)

SaintLewis really nailed the draft. There is top end talent in each position with good upside to fill out each room. RB is Bijan followed by Kyren. While Kyren is a little worrying, Jordan Mason and Kenny G provide some nice backup. Dak holds down the QB room and Shough could be a nice mid round QB that performs just as well as a lot of QBs drafted in the 3rd and 4th. WR has London and Nabers with Michael Wilson and Stribbling. Even TE has Warren and Kittle which could be the rare TE you could trade. I really like how this draft fell for Lewis and I think he is in the Champions League next year.

The1AndOpie - 5th Pick (Minor Leagues)

I want to like this team but something is just missing. The first two rounds are QB. Drake Maye and Caleb Williams could be great. But they could also be low end QB1s or high end QB2s just as easily as top tier options. AJ Brown, Pickens, and McLaurin are solid though. Then RB just lacks some upside. Javonte, Brooks, Harvey, Corum, and Woody Marks are all okay. Maybe Brooks has some upside. But I would like to see someone that has a big spark to be great. Then a pair of late TEs sort of works with Goedert and Juwan. Its just missing a bit of pop needed to get to the Champions League.

JustinofNixa - 6th Pick (Amateur Hour League)

So far this league is looking very close. I think this team isn’t terrible but there are some issues. I’m not sure if Kyler brings Justin Jefferson back to prominence. Then Purdy in the 3rd feels high for an average QB that keeps losing WR strength. Rashee Rice in the 5th could be a steal, but reports are pretty negative so far. Then there are just ho hum RBs. I like Judkins but the Browns are going to stink. And while Rhamondre appears to be a clear RB1 on New England starting the season, there is a reason everyone has been expecting him to get replaced for a few years now. Then LaPorta just doesn’t add a lot for TE. It isn’t much but I think this team will barely lose a lot of games.

BuckReborn - 7th Pick (Minor Leagues)

This team is really a wild build. This is a glass cannon. QBs of Kyler, Rodgers, Brissett and Mendoza. Kyler could really be big time. And Jacoby scored a ton of points last year. But this could be 4 QB3s. Then Fannin is the TE. Again, a big year last year but the QB situation there in Cleveland is a problem. The RBs all either have had great past seasons like Derrick Henry and Bucky or great situations like Etienne and Price. But Derrick Henry could finally fall apart and Bucky wasn’t a star last year. And Price couldn’t even get on the field on his college team. I think its going to be a wild roller coaster that ends up being a 0.500 team.

KingTrece - 8th Pick (Amateur Hour League)

This team is fine for the first four picks, but then I see some problems. Montgomery looks like a dead zone running back to me. His situation is a little overblown and Woody Marks doesn’t seem to be going away. And only having Tony Pollard and Crod behind him is basically having an empty bench. Then taking Adams and Odunze as WR2 and WR3 could work. But if Adams’ TDs regress and Odunze plays third fiddle to Burden and Loveland, this team will be struggling more. And Hunter Henry ain’t coming in to save the day at TE either.

Racesens - 9th Pick (Champions League)

I love the start of the draft. Going with 2 RBs and 2 QBs early feels really good. McCaffrey scares me but his upside is worth it. And Hurts in the 2nd just seems like a steal this year. Then despite waiting on WR, Racesens picks up Wilson, Waddle, Tate, and Pierce. That is a lot of potential there. The rest of the bench is a little weak and Kelce plus Brenton Strange isn’t exactly a dominant TE room. But those starters turned out so good I think this team can ride them in the Champions League.

ChristR - 10th Pick (Minor Leagues)

For the last three teams, I have one spot left in each league after my first pass. I don’t love any of them to be honest. Its really a super close draft. But this team I can only put in the minors. Jonathan Taylor and Jeanty should be great, but both have their flaws. Taylor didn’t look so great when the Colts came back to earth last year. And Jeanty has this injury opening the door for Mike Washington just enough to steal some touches. The Egbuka’s toe is really a problem. But I do like McBride, Olave, McConkey in rounds 3-5. The QBs are late but its a nice trio with rushing upside in Willis and little in Danny Dimes. There is just almost nothing that gets me excited after round 9. And because of that I can’t put this team in the Champions League.

Srochat - 11th Pick (Amateur Hour League)

I just can’t have Skattebo as my RB1 and feel good about it. He could put up points for sure. But he could also run head first into a brick wall. And his head coach calls him an infectious disease. Then the rest of the RB room is who I want as RB4 and not RB2. Even WR feels flimsy with Metcalf as WR3. I really don’t think Rodgers can get him the ball well enough. The only hope I see for this team is Diggs really putting up some numbers, but thats a longshot to carry this team.

Rbegun - 12th Pick (Champions League)

And a Champions League team….I guess. No one on this team really wows me. But I look at each one and I think, “I can see it” Jaxon Dart as a QB1. I can see it. Tet McMillan as a WR1, I can see it. Swift operates as a 1A in the highest scoring team while Dowdle takes over Pittsburgh. I can see it. Pitts and Likely, I can both see as top 6 TEs. Even Wan’dale and Pittman I can see getting into a WR2 range with decent volume. So now I am starting to see it more and more. Its probably going to be completely boring getting there. But at the end of the day its all about the Ws.
