Champions League 2026

Hello Everyone and welcome to the 10th year of the Relegation Fantasy Football Association. Congrats everyone for making it the Champions league and best of luck to everyone.

Jessman82 - 1st Pick (Champions League - Playoffs)

We start off with a nicely balanced team. I don’t think anyone complains when you start off with Josh Allen. The first two receivers are Drake London and Devontae Smith. Both I would say have quarterback questions, but neither have questionable talent. Saquon and the Bake Show round out a solid top 5. Trayveon Henderson is a big wildcard for this team. The breakaway speed is there but early indications this year put Henderson as the RB2 for his team. But that is okay with Tony Pollard and Kenny Gainwell later for some low upside stability. BTJ and Addison had some splash appeal at the WR position. And Cam Ward is, well he is there. Then late TE is covered but a pair that should put up okay numbers in Henry and Andrews. This team will be hard to beat every week, but they may lack the burst to win a championship. 

Kbeals - 2nd Pick (Minor Leagues)

This is a boom or spectacular bust team. QBs are fine in Lamar and TLaw. But the other two picks in the first four rounds are Rashee Rice and Jefferson. Could Jefferson be WR1 this year? Absolutely. Could Rice be top 5? I wouldn’t be surprised. Could Jefferson be a WR2 due to poor QB play and Rashee Rice is in jail again? Also very possible. Then the whole RB room is basically Kyren, Bucky, and Judkins. While all of them are ok picks, I wouldn’t be surprised if 1 or 2 have really disappointing seasons. Godwin and Pierce are nice mid round upside picks, but I don’t see much else to get excited for on this team. 

LJFesh - 3rd Pick (Minor Leagues)

Solid QBs and Solid RBs, but thats what you get when you spend your first 6 picks on QB and RB. The WRs really take a hit in quality. A post hype sleeper can be good, but if its your whole WR room, thats not as great. Jameson Williams, Marvin Harrison, and Matthew Golden are all 1st round rookies that have never really reached their expectation. Then you get slot only Jayden Reed with some youngsters in Ja’Koby Lane and Boston. Is the potential there? Yes? Are multiple WRs going to hit their previously perceived high potential after showing seasons of disappointment? Probably not.

Loblaw - 4th Pick (Champions League - No Playoffs)

I think this is a really solid team, but not perfect. I like getting a QB early and still getting Stroud and Rogers later. Stroud could be pretty close to the scoring of some of the 3rd round QBs. The top RBs and WRs are solid with Bijan, AJ Brown, and Olave. Jacobs and Rhamondre make me a little nervous. Rhamondre won’t stay in the role long if he isn’t performing and Jacobs has the legal trouble. Having Lloyd on this team really saves it.. The WRs offer some good mid round upside with QJ, Pittman, and Stribling. I think 2 of those 3 need to hit and 1 needs to get traded to get this team to the playoffs. Its on the edge but I have them just out of the playoffs.

ElCamino- 5th Pick (Champions League - Playoffs)

The reigning champions opts for the 5th slot and goes WR/TE to start. A very uncommon open across the leagues so far. It is nicely paired with Dart and Nabers who could easily be chosen in the top 2 rounds next year after they have a big season this year. Love and Swift enter as the top 2 backs for the team. Swift scares me a lot. Love definitely seems to have the ability if he can get healthy and get enough of the work. I like the late darts in Brooks, Likely, Conception, and Washington. I could see this team getting off to a slow start if Nabers isn’t 100% week one. It is unlikely Conception or Meyers is worth a start early. But down the stretch this team should be very good. 

Adonis77- 6th Pick (Minor Leagues)

I don’t see a glaring hole on this team as I go pick by pick. But overall I look at the team and I just don’t get excited. Puka and Dak are fine. Its hard to complain about the first two rounds. But Mahomes in the 3rd is where I start to wonder. I can’t really say I understand how he was a top 5 QB for 4 out of 5 seasons then he went to a just outside the top 10 QB that feels more like QB 20 at times. He still plays well, but the fantasy points aren’t there. Then you get some low upside players in Javonte Williams, Tee Higgins, and Tuten. I just don’t see any of them being a lot more than we have seen so far except maybe Tuten. But he doesn’t catch passes. Then a mid round double TE seems a bit unnecessary and leaves this team with a little less firepower. No QB3 and bunch of ho-hum late picks leaves this team in the minors. 

BigMike84 - 7th Pick (Champions League Playoffs)

This team is built on players that have a pathway to being great. Chase Brown seems to have a backfield to himself. Shough could take a step forward with Kellen Moore as the coach. Skattebo showed he could be really good if he doesn’t hurt himself. Montgomery is now the lead back. Odunze had some great weeks. Kittle and Diggs are have been great in the past and just need to get over injuries. I think all of these players won’t become great, but enough will to get the team in to the playoffs.   

nyr30messier - 8th Pick (Minor Leagues)

Sometimes you have to take the best available player, but it leaves a team unbalanced. And as I review the team, all I can go off of is what was drafted. McCaffrey, Burrow, McBride is a fine start. Kyler offers a lot of upside as QB2. And despite the WR1 coming in the 5th, WR is good enough with McConkey, Adamas, McLaurin, and well Metcalf is there too but that probably won’t matter. Then an odd TE2 in 9th with LaPorta is a bit of a luxury pick. That leaves RB2 in the 10th round with RJ Harvey and it gets ugly after that. Could Messier pick up a RB off the waiver wire, absolutely. Or he could make a great trade. Either of these could put this team in contention, but until then, this team is a step behind.  

gshirron - 9th Pick (Champions League - No Playoffs)

This team waited on the QB2 and TE, which is a perfectly reasonable strategy, but I don’t think the rest of the positions paid off enough for having Bryce Young and Kincaid in your starting lineup every week. Jeanty is coming in injured with Mike Washington looking like he will at least steal a few more carries than we want to see. And Derrick Henry has to slow down at some point right? Although I have written that statement for at least 5 years and so far the answer is no. But then Pickens, Waddle, Burden feels like a hopeful trio where it should be really strong. I think all have good upside cases but they are far from locks. Then I would also like to see a better QB3 than Shedeur if Bryce Young is your QB2. Young has never been above QB 19 in his career. I would want to pair him with someone that is also streamable for certain weeks. So the team is close, but I think they come up short. 

LuckyTye - 10th Pick (Champions League - Playoffs)

I really like this team and I think its because they caught a couple of runs in the right spot. Prior to this team’s 2nd pick, 1 QB went in the previous 12 picks. 5 of the next 7 picks after them were QBs. It was important to pick up Jayden Daniels there before the QB quality went down a few tiers. Then the QB2 in Goff was grabbed before another QB tier cliff arrived in the next 10 picks. That set up this team to have a strong core outside of QB in Amon Ra, Omarion, and Loveland. Jadarian Price, Garret Wilson, and Christian Watson are really nice picks in the 6-8 round range. Then there is good up side later with Bill and Makai Lemon. Overall a nicely managed draft. 

Stueyh1122 - 11th Pick (Minor Leagues)

Sometimes we see teams load up on players with an upward trajectory based on their situation. This is the opposite. The 1st two picks are RBs in Jonathan Taylor and Achane. Both great players, but the first half of Indy’s year last year may have been more of a fluke than a consistent reality. And who knows what Achane will look like w offense isn’t working well. Stafford had 46 TDs last year through the air. That rarely stays consistent. Its also crazy he is in his 17th year. I have low hopes for DJ Moore because trades to the Bills don’t seem to work recently. Jaylen Warren seems to be going the wrong way. I don’t think Michael Wilson will continue his crazy stretch. And I don’t think Mendoza has anyone to throw too. All of these players have shown it in the past, but I don’t think this year will be their best year. 

Lefty 2104 - 12th Pick (Minor Leagues)

This team could be good except for injury concerns. That starts with Mike Evans for me. He is going into the season injured and he is getting up there in years. And if he doesn’t play well, I think that hurts the QB2 on this team, Purdy. Egbuka still has a toe injury and those can linger. And Carnell Tate seems to have a case of Crappy-QB-itis. Etienne seems like he could be good but that is the classic dead zone running back trap. There are some other good picks and some bad ones, but nothing that is going to save this team from starting injured WRs that play half the game before limping on down to the Minor Leagues.
